What counts as an inbox?
A durable, addressable mailbox with its own canonical address, policy, and history. Archived inboxes don't count toward your active total — they're preserved, not billed as live.
Do I need to set up DNS?
No. On a managed domain, MX, SPF/DMARC, and per-inbox DKIM are projected automatically. Custom domains are an advanced, opt-in path on Scale and above.
What happens at my message limit?
On Scale, overage is metered per message. On Hobby, sends pause until the next cycle — receiving and reading continue so nothing is lost.
Can I keep my audit trail forever?
Scale retains 90 days of audit and event history. Enterprise offers unlimited retention plus export. Delivered mail itself is never deleted by normal workflows.
